Today has been a tiring but great day.  My new rollator arrived this morning.  This gives me a safe, new set of wheels for recovery and rehabbing my wasting body.  A ten year old rollator with worn out brakes isn't exactly what the doctor would order.  The Thanksgiving meal was wonderful.  Everyone brought their best dish and I ate way too much and quite a few things that will undoubtedly cause a thrush flare.  It will be worth every bit of it.  The goodies I ordered from Wal Mart for the hospital and recovery are starting to trickle in.  Love those boxes.  Tomorrow I go see the surgeon and get the battle plan.  It would be great if he could get in and out on an outpatient basis, letting me recover at Abigail's for a few days.  I would love to spend some time with the boys.  I have a feeling that this will be more invassive.  Oh well, whatever it takes to be on the other side of this.  I will get a nice lunch out of this after seeing the surgeon.  That's going to be my birthday/Thanksgiving with the Cookeville set.  Hopefully, I will have a clear picture of what is going on by this time tomorrow, that the implant will be a glorious success and I won't have to go under the knife again,  Famous last words.
